"In 1988 I started selling sausage and other snacks out of an old Dodge Dart. I drove my reliable old car down the streets of Seattle to the foothills of Mt. Rainier entering businesses and presenting my goodies. I must admit the beginning was not easy, but it was a challenge I always enjoyed. After a few months I perfected my introduction - I would enter an office and say 'I am Dan the Sausageman!' People laughed, I sold, and Dan the Sausageman was born."
